L'Association des Ami(e)s des Animaux à Lasalle Inc,
saw the light in 1994. Its goal is to support pet owners
in their endeavours to harmonize pets' needs with the
quality of life of the citizens of LaSalle.
- To provide information through its newsletter.
- To encourage the city councilors to ease the
rules which regulate our pets and to establish
adequate and accessible areas for dogs.
- It coordinates dog obedience courses in LaSalle.
- It organizes social events such as Doggie Olympics,
dog washes, conferences, etc.
- To provide a vital link between pet owners
and the City of LaSalle.
- To share various information concerning pet care
(medical, behavioural, grooming, training, etc.) and
act as a reference towards various questions from pet owners.
- To organize social activities for pets and their
owners alike.
- To educate and try to make citizens more responsible
toward their pet's needs.
- Maintain the dog park situated on the corner of
Lapierre and Pigeon streets.
- To benefit from rebates offered at various
local animal-related businesses.
- To be kept abreast of important information
and developments, social events as well as other
news related to the animal world.
- So that you feel represented and supported as a
pet owner in LaSalle.
- To help lend a voice to our Association in the
name of our pets.
