   The Bush advisers' obsession with "correcting" a "Clinton mistake" and their friendliness with Duvalierism is making civil war in Haiti a near certainty and with it, a wave of boad people heading for Florida in an election year.
   
   
3. Deliberate confusion: the Iraqi WMD question (February 8 2004)
   
   This Iraqi WMD embarassment is the result of two important factors; irrational faith and deliberate confusion. Loyalists of a certain foreign state helped promote both. The decision to keep Hussein Kamal's sensational revelation that the weapons were destroyed in 1991 surely helped.
   
   
4. Bushs shameful sham (February 7 2004)
   
   By placing a veteran of whitewashing neocon crimes in charge of the Iraq WMD investigatory commission, and by including in it a man who dismisses the truth of the matter as beyond possibility, Bush shows this commission to be a sham.
   
   
5. UN demands for "reform" in Serbia is totally unacc (February 6 2004)
   
   To order countries to commit economic suicide and to back it up with this "carrot and stick" formula is unbecoming for the UN and is a crime. The UN is not supposed to be in the business of forcing countries to adhere to ruinous economic dogma.
   
   
6. Ante Markovic, the real "original sinner" of the Y (February 6 2004)
   
   Recently, at the trial of Slobodan Milosevic, a former associate of Milosevic's was brought forth by the Office of the Prosecutor to testify against him. He is a former member of the Yugoslav presidency and Yugoslavia's president in 1990. Borislav Jovic was chosen by the Prosecution in order to bolster their argument that Milosevic was, in James Rubin's words, the "original sinner" of the Yugoslav catastrophe. They chose him because Jovic had left Milosevic's entourage in the mid-1990s and became a member of a splinter party following the 2000 coup. His testimony, however, suggested another villain in this drama; Ante Markovic
   
   
7. Intelligence failure? (February 5, 2005)
   
   The only intelligence failure in in this case of Iraqi WMD is that which has allowed Israeli spies and Iraqi exiles to manufacture evidence to sell their pet war.
