Bushs shameful sham

Bush's shameful sham

Bush's plan to appease critics of his deceptions regarding the claims of Iraqi WMD is yet another shameful sham. He created a commission with the mission to investigate these mythical "intelligence failures", even though the problem was not intelligence failure, it was intelligence fabrication with the Israelis playing a major role in producing false information that was then picked up by the CIA as "intelligence information" and with the CIA pressured by Israeli agents in the Bush Administration to treat these fabrications as unquestioned facts.

Thus, Bush announced that the panel will "look at America's intelligence capabilities, especially our intelligence about weapons of mass destruction".

Bush's scheme is revealed to be more shameful when it turns out that after naming John McCain to sit on this commission, McCain immediately announced that "The president of the United States, I believe, did not manipulate any kind of information for political gain or otherwise."

"Perhaps mistakes were made and those are what we have to look at in a broad variety of areas. There's no massive conspiracy that I've seen", he added.

"It's obvious to one and all that there have been intelligence failures," McCain claimed. "Why those occurred and under what circumstances nobody knows. That's why we need a thorough and complete investigation.

"We also need to look at other countries such as Iran and North Korea and recognise that this is an issue of credibility of the American people."

Thus, he confirms that this commission will report on everything but the truth of the situation, with its members refusing to contemplate the possibility while dutifully focusing on false "intelligence failures".

McCain also claimed that "It wasn't just an American intelligence failure, it was German, it was French, it was British, it was Israeli -- it was all intelligence failures, and we need to find out why that happened."

He may actually be right about something; that the Israelis reported these lies but this was not a case of an Israeli intelligence failure, this was a case of Israeli intelligence success; they successfully reported false information as fact for the sake of Israeli strategic policy. "By deception we make war" is the Mossad's motto and this was carried out perfectly in this case. McCain of course will never consider this possibility as he belongs to the Israelis. In fact, he was the Israeli agents' favoured presidential candidate in 2000 before Bush secured the Republican nomination. The Richard Perles and other neocon cabalists were with him as he advocated an extremely aggressive foreign policy, including a policy of provoking Russia just short of initiating a nuclear exchange.

One of the co-chairs of this commission is one Laurence Silberman, who has been a neocon dirty trickster for years. As a judge, he shamefully cast the deciding vote in overturning the criminal convictions of neocon fellow-travellers John Poindexter and Oliver North. He has been very close to Richard Perle and Michael Ledeen, two of the most virulent of the neocon agitators. How appropriate it is that someone who whitewashed on behalf of neocons in a previous administration is now charged with a similar exercise under this administration.

The limited scope of the inquiry further proves its real nature. Scott Ritter correctly pointed out that "Bush’s decision to limit the scope of any inquiry to intelligence matters, effectively blocking any critique of his administration’s use — or abuse — of such intelligence, is absurd, especially when one considers that the Bush administration was already talking of war with Iraq in 2002, prior to the preparation of a National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) — the defining document on a particular area of the world or specified threat — by the director of Central Intelligence."

Both McCain's and Silberman's presence on this commission and its limited scope show beyond a doubt that this commission will have no credibility at all. McCain's comments show a disease in Washington the main symptom of which is the belief in all of the lies fabricated by Israeli intelligence, since they argue that to accuse an Israeli of a lie is to be the reincarnation of Hitler. No matter that Israeli authorities believe a strategic purpose in making such fabrications. His comments further taint the commission beyond repair as he declares himself as someone for whom the truth is beyond the realm of possibility, beyond the realm of discussion. This is an example of one of the many sleight-of-hand tricks that are used in politics; the ruling out of certain truths as truths in order to shut down discussion along these lines.

This is true of perhaps the most serious U.S. national security problem; that is, the infiltration by Israeli agents of their national security system and the systematic ban on discussion of said issue in the media as something beyond the realm of possibility, as a "conspiracy theory" devised by Hitler-lovers.
