James Payfair and his Family

James Payfair and his Family

James Poyfair and was born in Canada circa 1853 of a Canadian father and an Irish mother Annie UNKNOWN, born around 1810. His father had died before 1880 as his mother was then a widow.

James married before 1875, most probably in Michigan State, Levina UNKNOWN. She was born around 1853 in Michigan State, as had been her parents.

In 1880, James and his family were living in Attica, Lapeer County, Michigan State.

James and Levina had at leat three children, all born in Michigan State:

  1. Claude Payfair, born around 1875;
  2. Annie Payfair, born around 1877;
  3. Charles Payfair, born in late 1879.
