Michel Robineau Desmoulins, pionneer and grand-father of Marie Josephe Robineau Desmoulins

Michel Robineau Desmoulins, pionneer, was the son of Simon Robineau and Anne Larche who remained in France. He was born circa 1683 on rue Saint-Honoré in the parish Saint-Roch of Paris. He died in the Montréal Hospital on 27 October 1738 and was buried the next day by Father Dargent in the presence of Father Peigne and of the Ecclesiastic Girard.

After a first marriage with Marie Louise Baron, celebrated in Montréal on 25 February 1710, Michel married in Saint-Laurent on 15 September 1732 Marie Louise Maranda Marandeau Latourelle, daughter of Jean Maranda Marandeau Latourelle and Marie Paradis, widow of Victor Victor Couvrette. Were present: Marguerite and Suzanne Caron, nieces of the groom; Joseph Robineau, son of the groom; Pierre Groulx, Noël Cousineau et Marie Nolet, daughter of the bride. Marie Louise was born in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 11 May 1691 and was baptized the same day by Father Tremblay. Her god-father and god-mother were her uncle Guillaume Paradis and Marie Paradis, daughter of Pierre Paradis. Widowed yet again, she married Pierre Monsiau Désormeaux.

Michel and Marie Louise had only two children, of which only one survived the age of one and married:

1. Pierre Robineau Desmoulins, born in Montréal on 10 September 1738 and married in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul on 23 April 1770 with Marie Josephe Proulx Clément.

Pierre Robineau Desmoulins, father of Marie Josephe Robineau Desmoulins

Pierre Robineau Desmoulins was the son of Michel Robineau Desmoulins and Marie Louise Maranda Marandeau Latourelle. He was born in Montréal on 10 September 1738 and was baptized the same day by Father M. Gasneault. His god-father and god-mother were Pierre Sorel Marly and Marie Françoise Larivière. He died on 19 October 1785 in Saint-Martin and was buried the next day.

Marie Joseph was born in Sault-au-Récollet on 18 June 1749. She was baptized the same day in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul by Father Renoyer, having been "BROUGHT IN THIS PARISH BECAUSE OF THE ABSENCE OF M. CHAMBORT, MISSIONNARY IN SAULT-AU-RÉCOLLET". Here god-father and god-mother were Charles Rose and Marie Josephe Gauthier. Once widowed, she remarried with the widower Louis Deshêtres in Saint-Laurent on 28 June 1796. It is widowed once again that she died in Saint-Eustache on 9 May 1834 and was buried the next day.

Pierre and Marie Josephe had three children who married before 1800:

1. Pierre Robineau Desmoulins, baptized in Sault-au-Récollet on 28 March 1772 and married in Saint-Martin on 18 February 1794 with Marie Victoire Paquet;
2. Marie Josephe Robineau Desmoulins, born in Saint-Martin on 10 January 1775 and married in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Pierrefonds on 18 June 1798 with Louis Payfer;

Jean Maranda Marandeau, pionneer, was baptized on 19 February 1629 in Sainte-Catherine de Laflotte, on the island of Ré, diocese of La Rochelle, in Aunis. He died "WITHOUT WARNING AROUND FOUR O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING" in Saint-Laurent, Île d'Orléans, on 24 May 1711 and was buried the same day by Father F. Poncelet. Widowed, he had remarried in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré on 13 February 1684 with Suzanne Chevalier.

Jean married before 1655 in Sainte-Catherine de Laflotte the future pionneer Jeanne Cousin.

Jeanne was baptized on 27 October 1629 in Sainte-Catherine de Laflotte, island of Ré, diocese of La Rochelle, in Aunis.

Jean and Jeanne had at least nine children, of which five in France; seven of them married:

3. Michel Maranda Marandeau, pionneer, baptized in Sainte-Catherine de Laflotte on 12 August 1660, married in Québec on 27 February 1685 with Marie Suzanne Jeanne Robert Jeanne and died in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 30 May 1736;
4. Jean Maranda Marandeau, pionneer, baptized in Sainte-Catherine de Laflotte on 28 December 1661, married in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 29 February 1688 with Marie Paradis and died in Charlesbourg on 3 September 1724;

Jean Maranda Marandeau Latourelle, pionneer, was the son of the pionneers Jean Maranda Marandeau and Jeanne Cousin. He was baptized on 28 December 1661 in the parish of Sainte-Catherine de La Flotte, island of Ré, diocese of La Rochelle, in Aunis. He died in Charlesbourg on 3 September 1724 and was buried the next day by Father Le Boulanger, parish priest, in the presence of Jacques Jobin and Jean Bourbeau.

Jean married in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 29 February 1688, Marie Paradis, daughter of Jacques Paradis and Jeanne Françoise Miloy Dumaine Mulouin. The bride and groom did not know how to sign their names. Were present: Michel and Jean Marandeau, brothers of the groom; and Guillaume and Pierre Paradis, uncle of the bride. Marie was born in the parish of Québec on 7 May 1671 and was "BAPTIZED IN BEAUPORT" on 10 May by Father Guillaume Mathieu, s.j. Her god-father and god-mother were Pierre Paradis and Jeanne Leroy. She was buried in Saint-Laurent, Île d'Orléans, on 20 August 1702 by Father F Poncelet, parish priest, leaving her husband a widower.

Jean and Marie had ten children, but only five outlived five months and four married:

2. Jean Baptiste Gabriel Maranda Marandeau Latourelle, born in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 11 October 1694, married in Charlesbourg le 8 November 1717 with Marie Marguerite Guilbault and died in Québec on 2 November 1749;
3. Pierre Maranda Marandeau Latourelle, born in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 31 January 1698 and married in Charlesbourg on 22 September 1717 with Marie Françoise Pageau;

Pierre Paradis, pionneer, was the son of Jacques Paradis and Michelle Lepelle who remained in France. He was baptized on 20 July 1604 in the parish of Notre-Dame in the city of Mortagne, diocese of Sees, in Perche. He "DIED SUDDENLY" in Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans, on 29 January 1675 and was "BURIED IN THE CHURCH OF SAINT-PIERRE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ÎLE D'ORLÉANS" the next day. Father B. Duplein officiated.

Barbe Marie was baptized on 19 April 1617 in the parish of Saint-Jean of the city of Mortagne in the diocese of Sees in Perche. She "DIED SUDDENLY" a widow in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 27 November 1700, and was buried the next day by Father Dauric in the presence of Pierre Paradis junior and of her grand-sons Gabriel and Guillaume Paradis.

Pierre and Barbe Marie had at least nine children, of which at least five were born in France. All nine married:

1. Marie Paradis, pionner, born circa 1639 in the parish of Notre-Dame at Mortagne in Perche, married in Québec on 16 October 1656 with Guillaume Baucher Morency and died in Sainte-Famille, Île d'Orléans, on 16 December 1708;

Jacques Paradis, pionneer, was the son of the pionneers Pierre Paradis and Barbe Marie Guyon Dion. He was baptized on 24 March 1641 in the parish of Notre-Dame at Mortagne in Perche.

Jacques married in Québec on 28 October 1668 Jeanne Françoise Miloy Dumaine Mulouin, daughter of Jean Miloy Dumaine Mulouin and Jeanne Lareine Roy, widow of Mathurin Leprêtre. Jeanne Françoise was born in Québec on 19 January 1653. She was "BAPTIZED BY M. MATHIEU CHOURET". Her god-father and god-mother were Jacques Loyer Latour and Françoise Dutartre, wife Denis. Father Jérôme Lalemant wrote the certificate dated 5 February 1653. She died in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 25 November 1708 and was buried the next day by Father Dauric, parish priest. She had married again with François Ferland in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 10 July 1679.

Jacques and Jeanne Françoise had five children, of which three married:

Jean Guyon, pionneer, was baptized in France on 18 September 1592, the son of Jacques Guyon and Marie Huet who stayed in France. He died a widower on 30 May 1663, and was buried the next day in Québec.

Jean married in France on 2 June 1615 the future pionneer Mathurine Marie Robin, born in the parish of St-Jean, in the city of Mortagne, diocese of Sees, in Perche.

Mathurine died on 16 April 1662 and was buried the next day in Québec.

Jean and Mathurine had eight children who married:

1. Barbe Marie Guyon, pionneer, baptized on 19 APril 1617 in France, married on 11 February 1632 in France with the future pionneer Pierre Paradis and died on 27 November 1700 in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans;

Jean Miloy Dumaine Mulouin, pionneer, was the son of Pierre Miloy and Françoise Candelle who remained in France. He was born circa 1616 in Saint-Léger-en-Charnie in the diocese of Le Mans in Maine.

Widowed after a first marriage with Barbe Huboult celebrated in Québec on 19 November 1642, Jean married in Québec on 28 November 1651 the pionneer Jeanne Lareine Roy, daughter of Pierre Roy and Jeanne Godefroy who remained in France. Their witnesses were Noël Morin and Jean Lemire. Father Joseph Poncet officiated.

Jeanne was born circa 1626 at Angers in Anjou.

Jean and Jeanne had three children, and they all married:

1. Jeanne Françoise Miloy Dumaine Mulouin, born in Québec on 19 January 1653, married a first time in Québec on 3 February 1665 with Mathurin Leprêtre, a second time in Québec on 28 October 1668 with Jacques Paradis, and a third time in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 10 July 1679 with François Ferland. She died in Saint-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, on 25 November 1708;

Jean Baptiste Proulx Clément, pionneer was the son of François Proulx and Martine Fermière who remained in France. He was born circa 1651 in Vertou in the diocese of Nantes in Bretagne. He died in Charlesbourg on 21 May 1711 and was buried the next day by Father Leboulanger in the presence of Charles Boisme and of the récollet Florentin.

Jean Baptiste married in Québec on 2 March 1699 Marie Catherine Fleury, daughter of François Fleury and Marie Jeanne Gilles. The bride and groom did not know how to sign. 2. Clément Proulx Clément, baptized in Charlesbourg on 8 December 1703, married in Montréal on 11 February 1737 with Placide Marie Catherine Dubois Laviolette and died in Sainte-Geneviève (Pierrefonds) on 28 March 1760;
3. Marie Proulx Clément, born in Charlesbourg on 9 February 1707 and married in Saint-Laurent on 31 May 1734 with Jean Baptiste Dagenais.

Jean François Baptiste Proulx Clément, father of Marie Josephe Proulx Clément

Jean François Baptiste Proulx Clément was the son of Jean Baptiste Proulx Clément and Marie Catherine Fleury. He was born in Charlesbourg on 10 January 1700 and baptized the next day by Father M. Germain Découvert. His god-father and god-mother were François Savard and Marie Auvray. He died in Sault-au-Récollet on 15 September 1780 and was buried the next day.

Left a widow after the death of his first wife Suzanne Marie Leduc, Jean François Baptiste married in Sault-au-Récollet on 23 September 1743 Marie Geneviève Auger Baron, daughter of Jean Baptiste Auger Baron and Marie Françoise Bon Lacombe and widow of Jean François Labelle. François Fleury, pionneer was the son of Simon Fleury and Marie Mouton who remained in France. He was born circa 1631 in Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul de Rueil-Malmaison in the diocese of Paris, in Île-de-France.

François married on 24 August 1670 in front of Notary Romain Becquet the pionneer Marie Jeanne Gilles, daughter of Pierre Gilles and Anne Nicolas who stayed in France.

Marie Jeanne was born circa 1648 in the parish Saint-Nicolas-des-Champs in Paris. She was buried in Montréal on 24 September 1708 by Father Seguenot in the presence of Joseph Fleury, her son-in-law Jean de Rapidiou junior, and of Father Antoine Henri Meriel. She had married a second time in Montréal in June 1689 with René Dumas Rencontre and a third time in Montréal on 1st September 1704 with Pierre Galais Laliberté who survived her.

François and Marie Jeanne had ten children, of which six married:

1. Marie Jeanne Fleury, born in Québec on 4 October 1671, married in Montréal on 29 October 1689 with Jean Michel Gascon and died in Saint-Laurent on 1st September 1740;

Jean married in France before 1652 the future pionneer Louise Grisard.

Louise was in Maine circa 1633. She died in Montréal on 5 November 1698 drowning in a brook close to her home. She was buried the next day in the presence of Dewillermaula and Pierre Chantereau, vergers. Father R. C. Debreslay, parish priest, officiated.

Jean and Louise had six children, of which only two married:

1. Jean Auger Baron, baptized in Montréal on 13 April 1664, married before 28 October 1694 in Québec with Marie Charlotte Glory Labière and died in Montréal on 14 January 1703;

Jean Baptiste Auger Baron, father of Marie Geneviève Auger Baron

Jean Auger Baron was the son of Jean Auger Baron and Louise Grisard. He was baptized in Montréal on 19 February 1670 by Father Gilles Pérot. His god-father and god-mother were Jean Gervaise, farmer, and Élisabeth Moyen, widow of major Lambert Closse. She was buried in Montréal on 31 October 1726 by Father J. G. Dulescoat, assistant parish priest, in the presence of Fathers Ysambart and Gasnault.

Jean Baptiste married in Montréal on 4 June 1696 Marie Françoise Bon Lacombe, daughter of Pierre Bon Lacombe and Marie Michelle Duval. The bride and groom did not know how to sign. Marie Françoise was born in Québec circa 1678. She died in Sault-au-Récollet on 5 March 1749 and was buried the next day by missionnary Father Chambon in the presence of Charles Leblanc, Ambroise Cazalle and the verger François Poitevin. She had remarried in Montréal on 7 August 1727 with Nicolas Bourdet who survived her.

Jean Baptiste and Marie Françoise had thirteen children, of which eight married;

1. Marie Marguerite Auger Baron, born in Montréal on July 1698, married in Montréal on 4 June 1716 with Pierre Monsiau Désormeaux and died in Sault-au-Récollet on 11 December 1738;
2. Marie Madeleine Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 7 February 1702 and married in Montréal on 7 January 1727 with Pierre Delage Lafleur Delasse;
3. Marie Françoise Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 11 February 1704 and married in Montéal on 30 September 1727 with Toussaint Hunault;
4. Jean Baptiste Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 7 June 1706, married in Montréal on 18 September 1730 with Marie Louise Jodouin and died in Montréal on 3 July 1751;
5. Marie Louise Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 25 August 1711 and married in Montréal on 1st July 1748 with Antoine Lefranc Lafrance;
6. Marie Geneviève Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 24 May 1714, married in Saint-François-de-Sales (Île Jésus) on 8 May 1739 with François Labelle and in Sault-au-Récollet on 23 September 1743 with Jean François Baptiste Proulx Clément;
7. Paul François Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 6 September 1716, married in Montréal on 5 March 1753 with Scholastique Amable Latouche Saint-Jean Soupras and died in Montréal on 24 August 1757;
8. Marie Élisabeth Auger Baron, born in Montréal on 2 July 1722 and married in Montéal on 27 September 1745 with Étienne Bouvret.

The Bon Lacombe, parents of Marie Françoise Bon Lacombe

Pierre Bon Lacombe, pionneer and father of Marie Françoise Bon Lacombe

Pierre Bon Lacombe, pionneer, was born circa 1640 in the parish of Sainte-Foy in Chartres, in Beauce. He died a widower in Charlesbourg on 4 April 1715 and was buried the next day by Father Leboulanger in the presence of Nicolas Chamard and Charles Boisme.

Charles married in Québec before 1671 the pionneer Marie Michelle Duval.

Marie Michelle was born circa 1652 in the parish of paroisse Sainte-Foy in Chartres in Beauce. She died in Charlesbourg on 2 June 1711 and was buried the next day by Father Leboulanger en in the presence of Charles Leblanc, Charles Boisme and Father Florentin.

Pierre and Marie Michelle had nine children, six of which married:

1. Marie Catherine Bon Lacombe, born in Québec circa 1673, married in Montréal on 30 May 1695 with François Plouf and died in Sault-au-Récollet on 2 August 1749;
2. Pierre Bon Lacombe, born in Québec circa 1676, married in Charlesbourg on 5 October 1705 with Marie Madeleine Verret Laverdure and died at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital of Québec on 22 May 1725;
3. Marie Françoise Bon Lacombe, born in Québec circa 1678, married in Montréal on 30 June 1696 with Jean Baptiste Auger Baron and died in Sault-au-Récollet on 5 March 1749;
4. Marie Gertrude Bon Lacombe, born in Contrecoeur on 4 February 1681, married in Charlesbourg on 11 January 1700 with Henri Guérin and died in Charlesbourg on 5 January 1756;
5. Marie Madeleine Bon Lacombe, born in Contrecoeur on 10 April 1687 and married in Charlesbourg on 28 June 1706 with Jean Baptiste Beaumier Boisme;
6. Suzanne Bon Lacombe, baptized in Montréal on 3 March 1693 and married in Charlesbourg on 5 November 1709 with Charles Leblanc.
